The Lake MX333 Mountain Bike/CX shoe is one of Lake's parade horses. The latest developments in the field of road bike shoes have been incorporated into this model. It has a classic design with modern elements such as double BOA closure and a lightweight carbon sole system.
The internal heel cap is made of heat-moldable carbon, which offers the possibility to better adjust the heel support. A sturdy heel support stabilizes the foot and eliminates heel slip. A stable foot ensures better power transfer and less fatigue. The close-fitting natural leather upper combined with the dual Li2-boa closure system ensures that your foot is firmly attached without having to tighten the shoe too much.
The MX333 uses Lake's patented dual sole system. The inner sole is a semi-flexible fiberglass platform that offers some flexibility at the ball of the foot, where the foot often swells and typically hot spots or numbness can occur. The inner sole floats above the outer rigid carbon sole. This system makes it possible for the CX333 to use an extremely stiff carbon sole without sacrificing ride comfort.
