The Lake CX239 cycling shoes are the latest evolution in Lake's high-performance line and build on the success of the popular CX238. They were developed for avid riders who want to combine maximum power transfer with comfort, even with a slightly wider forefoot.
The shoe is based on the Competition style, with a wider toe box and a tight heel cup. This provides stability and space for natural foot expansion under high pressure. The integrated tongue and reinforced heel cap improve foot fixation, so that power is transferred to the pedals more efficiently.

CX/TX Competition Last - With a profile specifically designed for bikes with a very high cadence and higher pressure, the Competition Last have a more curved profile than the Sport Last. The main differences are a longer distance between the toes and the heel, a tighter heel and a slightly wider toe box so that the foot can expand when the pedal pressure is high.
The 100% carbon sole provides maximum stiffness and direct power transfer. Available in a 3-hole cleat pattern.
The upper, available in premium leather or microfiber/mesh, conforms to the foot and offers a comfortable, snug fit. Wear-sensitive areas are extra protected, making the CX239 ready for heavy use and long rides. Helcor heel panel and rubber toe bumper help protect the upper from scratches and scratches.
